Valentine’s Day has passed. For one day, the world was a place of love and peace. Romeo found his Juliet and they shall live happily ever after.
Together with some of our beloved brothers and sisters, we had our last Marriage Week prayer event in a little country church high up in the mountains.
Did we reach our goal? Absolutely. We prayed for our nation, and were confident in God’s clear promise from 2 Chronicles 7:14: “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
We prayed and we humbled ourselves. Now we are looking forward how the Almighty King, our Lord Jesus, will continue to heal this land. I hope He will start with the young couples, followed by the fathers and the mothers, with ultimately a restoration of entire families. Prayer comes first, strategy is next, and then we preach the Kingdom of God.
My personal question is: “What will the world look like one year from now?”
