Marriage Week is an international project to support young couples. As member of the Swiss printing house “East West Generation”, I've been asked to coordinate the nationwide prayer sessions for this week in Switzerland.

This week we will gather on a daily basis high up in the Swiss Alps for intercession and prayer in support of Marriage Week, and I will keep posted daily on what we have experienced.

In preparation of the Marriage Week, I prayed on Sunday evening and received the beautiful Bible passage of Mark 8:1-10, about King Jesus feeding the thousands. Oh, how I wish I was there too!

4000 men and their families freely received bread and fish. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Father of King Jesus, will supply in all our needs. King Jesus has a passion for people and has food to give abundantly. He shares His love and food with all of us, and He sends us out into our world to make the Gospel known.

In our lives, it is of course not always a time, or even a reason, for celebration and feasting. But on that day in Mark 8, it was a huge celebration.

During the Marriage Week, young couples receive our special support, so that they may get to know God, and to make His Name known among man.

Come with me, let us go to King Jesus and enjoy His love and His free gifts for everyone
